Buachaille Etive Mor - Reset Button, Adventure Nov 2017 | On the Adventure Trials Scotland
The demands of life and work often place intense pressures on us. When I get home, this is how I find my RESET Button... How I Hit the Reset Button on Life. I’m sure every outdoor enthusiast with an ounce of adventurous spirit will identify with my thoughts !
Buachaille Etive Mor is one of the best known and loved of all the Munro peaks. The epic view of the mountain from the main A82 road makes it appear quite unassailable and is one of the most photographed sights in Scotland.
Corrour Station - Ben Alder Bothy, June 2017 | On the Adventure Trails - Scotland
Fastpacking around Ben Alders local Munros. Approx. 29 miles and 6000 feet of ascent, a night at Ben Alder Cottage Bothy, the spooks weren't around the night I stayed ! .
Fastpacking is a brilliant sport. Simply put, it’s a sport where you strap a small amount of gear, food, and water on your back and go running and power hiking for days at a time. Where you sleep under the stars wherever your feet have landed you. Where you cover big miles and earn even-bigger views.
Glencoe, Lost Valley Winter Camp | Jan 2018, On the Adventure Trials Scotland
Lost Valley (Coire Gabhail), Glencoe. Coire Gabhail is hidden away from famous Glencoe behind a number of towering peaks. It was here that many members of Clan MacDonald took refuge in the immediate aftermath of the Glencoe massacre in 1692. Guarded on all sides by mountains, it is the perfect place to camp, with a flat high meadow, meandering stream and giant boulders to shelter behind.
Snowy Kintail Adventure, March 2018 | On the Adventure Trails - Scotland
Beinn Fhada is a mountain of great bulk. Whilst it may lack the graceful ridges elsewhere in Kintail, an ascent reveals its true character and complexity, with some magnificent northern corries.
Let loose on Lochnagar, Sept 2017 | On the Adventure Trails - Scotland
A route around Loch Muick, with a long run/walk taking in five Munros on the extensive White Mounth plateau. Lochnagar, Carn a' Choire Bhoidheach, Carn an t-Sagairt Mor, Cairn Bannoch and Broad Cairn. Approximately 20 miles of mostly great tracks and Land Rover track.
